WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today announced tax relief for individuals and businesses in four states affected by Hurricane Debby. Affected taxpayers in South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Vermont now have until Feb. 3, 2025, to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments. 

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today posted an early draft of the updated Form 1099-DA, which is the form for brokers to report certain sale and exchange transactions of digital assets that take place beginning in calendar year 2025. Generally, these forms will be sent separately to taxpayers and the IRS in early 2026.
